有一名弟子，在山中種葡萄，葡萄園藏了一尾巨蟒，卻被弟子發現，用斧頭給砍了。
弟子做了一個夢，夢見巨蟒跑到他的肚子裡，從那天起他就生病了，臉色鐵青，不發一語，常常吐舌頭，病愈來愈厲害，又哭又叫，喜歡在地上蠕動，肚子一餓，吃起東西，一口就是一大鍋。
最後，家人無法，把弟子送進精神療養院。
家人在壇城發願：
「唸【真佛經】一千遍，【高王經】一千遍。」
於是，我在三昧神行中，見到了精神療養院的弟子，我一見，就知道「蛇靈附身」。
這尾巨蟒，最喜吃「地鼠」。
於是我用一個大籠子，籠子裡裝了很多「地鼠」，去到弟子面前。
弟子「蛇靈」一見一大群「地鼠」，大喜，就從弟子的口中遊了出來，去捕食「地鼠」。
我那籠子有二門。
一門入。
一門出。
蛇靈從前門入，地鼠從後門出，四散奔逃。
我很機警，很快關閉了後門，地鼠全跑光了，又趕緊關了前門，那籠子裡就是那「蛇靈」。
我提了大籠子，回轉「葉子湖」去了。飄飄渺渺的，隨風而行。
我出了三昧禪定，就如同做了一個夢——
什麼籠子，根本沒有。
什麼蛇靈，根本沒有。
什麼地鼠，根本沒有。
然而，據我所知，精神療養院的弟子，卻突然精神全好了，生活起居一切正常，眼神也正常，表情也正常，不用服藥，身子也不會在地上蠕動，也不吐舌頭了，吃飯如常人一般。
不久便出院了。
家人覺得【真佛經】、【高王經】，有靈有驗，唸完一千遍，重罪皆消滅，消除諸毒害，能滅生死苦。
善哉！善哉！
Possessed by a Snake Entity

I have a disciple who grows grapes in the hills, and one day he discovered that a python had been living in his vineyard. He then killed the python with his axe.
Then he had a dream where he dreamed the python slipped into his stomach. Since he had that dream, he had been ill. His face was whitish green, and he remained quiet. He would often stick out his tongue and when his illness became more severe, he was seen crying and screaming, and he liked to lie on the floor and move like a snake. Whenever he was hungry, his appetite was so big he could finish a big pot of food.
Eventually, his family was left with no choice and sent him to a mental hospital.
His family made a vow before the shrine, “Recite the True Buddha Sutra a thousand times, and the High King Sutra a thousand times.”
During my spiritual travels in my samadhi, I saw this disciple resting in the mental hospital and knew immediately he was possessed by a serpent spirit.
This python was particularly fond of moles. So I got a cage filled with many moles and appeared before my disciple. The snake spirit was thrilled with joy when it saw that many moles, and crawled out from the disciple’s mouth to prey on these moles.
My cage was constructed with two trap doors; one for entrance, and one for exit. When the snake spirit entered through the front door, the moles escaped through the back door and dispersed. I was alert, and quickly shut the back door after all the moles had escaped, and immediately shut the front trap door. The cage was left only with the snake spirit.
I took the cage and returned to Leaf Lake, traveling along with the wind.
I emerged from my samadhi, and everything seemed like a dream. There was no cage, no snake spirit, and no moles. There was nothing at all.
Yet to my knowledge, the disciple in the mental institution suddenly recovered. His daily routine became normal; his eyes and facial expression showed all the signs of a normal person. He no longer needed to take medication, and he stopped slithering on the floor. He no longer stuck out his tongue, and he ate like any normal human being. Soon, he was discharged from the institution.
His family felt that the True Buddha Sutra and the High King Sutra are indeed responsive and effective. Once you complete a thousand recitations, all heavy karma is eradicated, and one is liberated from the suffering of birth and death, and freed from numerous kinds of suffering.
