《真佛宗》蓮生活佛盧勝彥傳承下的諸尊修法儀軌,認真說來,是藏密諸尊儀軌的簡要,原本一壇法要三、四小時的,簡化成四十分鐘,但,不失其大要,對忙碌的現代人,最是合宜。
修法儀軌分三大段:
「前行」包括:
召請。
大禮拜。
大供養。
四皈依。
四無量心。
披甲護身。
唸【高王觀世音真經】。
「正行」包括:
觀想。
結印。
誦咒。
九節佛風。
入三摩地。
「後行」包括:
讚偈。
禱告。
懺悔。
迴向。
在藏密儀軌中,一開始召請,一定先召請根本傳承上師加持修法圓滿,以示不忘根本。誦『根本上師心咒』七遍、二十一遍、四十九遍等,然後才開始次第修法,祖師認為,如此效果更佳。
我個人強調,《真佛宗》弟子,務必仔細體會修法儀軌每一節的「觀想」、「持咒」、「手印」及其「心要」。運心於儀軌的圓滿,如此修法,日日精進,不退初心,一定可以即身成佛。
我說,如果出外旅行,在飛機上,可以只修「正行」,再不行,「誦咒」亦可!

The Sadhanas of Cultivating Deity Practices

The many sadhanas of deity practices as transmitted by Living Buddha Lian-sheng, Sheng-yen Lu of True Buddha School, are really simplified versions of the sadhanas of the various deity practices as outlined in Tibetan Buddhism. A single cultivation session requiring three to four hours to complete is simplified to a process that takes about forty minutes without losing its essence. This is most fitting to the busy pace of people living in modern times.
The cultivation sadhana ritual is divided into three sections:
The preparatory practices include:
Invocation.
The Great Homage
Mandala Offering
The Fourfold Refuge
The Four Immeasurables
Armor Protection
Recitation of the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra
The main practices include:
Visualization
Forming the Mudra
Mantra Recitation
The Nine Cycle Breathing Exercise
Entering into Samadhi
The concluding practices include:
Verses of Praise
Prayers
Repentance
Dedication
The sadhana of Tibetan Buddhism always begins by invoking the lineage Root Guru to bless the completion of the practice. This is to illustrate the point that one should never forget the Root Guru. Recite the Guru Heart Mantra 7 times, 21 times or 49 time prior to the start of all practices. The lineage gurus felt that this approach would yield better results.
To the disciples of True Buddha School, I like to stress the importance of paying attention to every step of visualization, mantra recitation, mudra and the pith instructions detailed in the sadhana. Put your heart into ensuring the sadhana is practiced to perfection, and in so doing, cultivate diligently day after day without ever losing your initial spiritual motivation. If you can achieve this, you shall certainly attain buddhahood in this lifetime.
I like to add that if you are traveling by air for an overseas trip, you can simply keep to the main practices. If you are unable to do so, just recite the respective mantras.
