A disciple by the surname of Chen from Sichuan province Song sun country has a seven year old daughter, Xiao Yi. One day, she was play beside the pond and accidentally fell into it. There was nobody around.
While she was struggling, an invisible force was lifting her, and pushed her to the shore. As she was agile, she caught hold of the straw and crawled to the shore. Her precious life was saved.
Adults was asked ”How were you saved?”
She said: ”There was this uncle Lotus, who jumped from the air, into the water and made such a big splash. He supported me from under the water, pulling my sinking body to the shore, so I came out from the pond.”
”How do you know it was uncle Lotus?”
She replied:” It was uncle Lotus who told me who he is!”
The father took out a photograph of Padmakumara and showed it to her daughter. She shouted:
”That is him, that is him, uncle Lotus.”
One night after the incident, Mr Chen saw Grandmaster standing in the air and shouted to him in his dream:
”Padmakumara covering blanket (bestowing protection), Padmakumara covering blanket.”
This true story was spread far and fast in Mainland China. The reputation of Living Buddha Lian-Sheng was enhanced day after day. More and more disciples took refuge, and they had marvellous responses.
On the same subject, I reproduce a letter:
In my dream, Grandmaster pointed his palm at right side of my mouth. On the following day, I saw a red mark at the same spot, and it is still there. (It became very obvious at night)
I also dreamed that Grandmaster gave me an overcoat (light white in colour), and my husband a light green one. And I wonder what is the meaning?
Hoping that Grandmaster could empower us so that we are all safe and make great progress in our cultivation. Find prosperity in business. Thank you.
Your disciple Lian-Hua bi Yu
My explanation is:
1. a red mark at the mouth––you must take steps to avoid misfortune because of talking. When dealing with others, try not to talk too much, not to get involved in unnecessary troubles.
2. Light white overcoat––It is an empowerment to eradicate misfortune.
3. Light green overcoat––It is an empowerment to receive monetary or dharma treasure.
(The meaning is the same when you dream about the grand master covers you with blanket, i.e. Jia Bei. or give you an overcoat.)
Many people dreamed that I (Living Buddha Lian-Sheng) covered them with blankets, that is quite normal, since they are True Buddha's disciples.
There is an unusual one:
Kelly, a caucasian woman is from Florida. She is twenty eight. Five years ago she was very weak, suffering from all kinds of sickness.
She suffered from short-sighted,double vision, infection in her ear, headache, water in her lung, asthma, irregular heart beat, stones in her gall, ulcer in stomach, kidney malfunction, weak bladder.....she is full of sickness from head to toe.
She is a Catholic.
She went to church to pray everyday. Lighting the candles, she knelt down, cupped her hands and prayed to mother Mary.
She was so sincere and earnest.
Not long later, she dreamed of a saint from the east with five Buddha crown (She did not know that and thought he is an Indian chief with 5 big feathers), sitting on a big flower in the air (the big flower is the lotus seat). She was very sure the saint had an oriental look, since she saw it vividly and had a deep impression.
She dreamed that the saint of the east, threw a heavenly cloth to her from the air, and the cloth covered her body.
If the dream is only once, then there is nothing strange.
But she had the same dream, seven days in succession, what a strange thing.
Kelly went to the church to consult the father.
The father shook his head.
She asked others, no body could throw any light.
The miracle is that after the seven dreams, all kinds of sickness have lessened. After another month of prognosis and X-ray, all her sickness including those that are unlikely to be cured, have disappeared.
The disappearance of all her sickness surprised even her family doctor.
And Kelly regarded the saint of the east to be her saviour.
Five years later.
Kelly went to Japan for a tour. On her return trip, she met Lian-Hua Jia Qi, a disciple of True Buddha School. Lian Hua Jia Qi was reading a True Buddha magazine, which had a picture featured Grandmaster wearing five Buddha crown and sitting on a white lotus seat.
Kelly was so excited and jumped up. She shouted:”That is him, that is the man who saved my life. He cured all my sickness. He is the saint from the east.”
This silenced all the passengers on the plane. They listened to Kelly who told them the strange story of being covered by a heavenly cloth.
Many a Westerner must have a clearer picture on the myth after listening to her story.
